Feeling A Little Bit Too Much

The other day I had my polkadots scarf in my hands and suddenly had the idea to wear it as a top. I really like it, but I am afraid to walk around like this, because it is not really hiding anything. All the time I am of the opinion I wear what I want no matter what, but it's not quite right. Dressing up I have small voices in my ear telling me, if things are way too freaky or revealing. I hate that!
What about you do you really wear what you want? Don't you have the feeling sometimes it's just too much or not appropriate?

Those Carefree Days

Some pictures I took over the last few days. I really like the first one, because it reminds me of careless summerdays, back in the days when I still had six weeks of summer holidays.

Freedom

Yesterday (the night before my day off) I went with some coworkers to a small bookstore, where I concert took place. The singer was Stella Gotshtein, a friend of the coworker Adi, and she was great. You should start listen to her music, it's worth it!

I Am Totally Into Photography

The camera I showed before is quite nice. It is a more simple one as it uses symbols instead of numbers to show you if you adjust the shutter speed and/or exposure time right. Nevertheless I had to try it, took pictures with it and brought it to the mall. This is the outfit I wore for the time out in the city.

The Black Dress

04-29-1004-28-10

While searching something I found this blog "The Black Dress".
It's this girl, who is wearing black dresses, specially created from designers, differently everyday by layering different pieces under/over it or pairing accessories with it for one year. All these items are from handmade artists. The artists donate/lend these items for the project. If the artist chooses to donate the item to the project then after it is used it will be posted for sale in the online shop, so that reader can buy it. Besides all the proceeds from the shop go toward Noah’s Ark Orphan Care Center.
This is what she is writing about it:
"I'm wearing a black dress everyday for 365 days!! To raise funds for orphans in Malawi. Want to make a donation?
100% of donations go to Noah's Ark Orphan Care Center in Malawi, Africa."
Now tell me, isn't this an amazing idea?
Go to here blog and donate or buy something!

There She Is: Bold

So this is the bomb, which I am waiting to letting explode for a while: I have short hair now.
Ever since I was young I didn't really feel female or girly or however you want to call it. I always had problems with how I look like and if I am not to boyish. Over the years it changed and I got more into dressing and fashion, but there are still those doubts. My blond hair helped me a lot to feel more like a girl/woman, but it also gave me problems, when it didn't look good or when my pony was not cut good. All I want is to find my inner beauty inside me not outside me and this is why I cut my hair. The safety of being blond and beautiful is gone and you see my face how it is. Without any frame in all its pureness.
First it was quite a shock for me and I didn't feel comfortable. Also a lot of people came to me and had to comment on it in either a good or bad way. But now I really like it! I can leave the house without one thought about my hair and I feel that I am more free now and more open to experiment (also in fashion).
What are your thoughts?

(Sorry that's just in English, but I don't have the power right now to write it also in German.)

Like A Swedish Doll

After three hours of trying to upload something, then sending it to a friend in canada, who uploaded it. I am still not sure if it worked. Maybe I will see it tomorrow. If not I need to cry, because I invested some time for taking the pictures and editing them.
This dress is also from the pile of clothes I bought second hand. I feel like a swedish doll, when I wear it.

Dritte Hand

Maybe you remember this picture (above)?
If not look here.
Not long ago I bought some clothes secondhand and showed them to you, but I didn't show you this nice red piece:

When nicht schaut hier.

Yeah, it's a red coat!!!
First I hesitated to buy it, because it's so warm in Israel. After I tried it I had to buy it, because it fits me perfectly and it cost 10 Shekels (= ca. 2€).
What do you say?

Was sagt ihr?

The Holy City

Again a picture from Jerusalem at the Western Wall. And Again a tourist.
One and a half week ago, I went to Jerusalem to take some pictures and to show my boyfriend the Old City. Jerusalem's old city is really confusing, because it consists of small and narrow alleys, which are leading you to its different quarters and sights or not.
It's interesting to see the "Holy City", because of its history, because of the fights around it and because of Jesus (I am catholic, not really believing, but I was educated in catholic religion).
On the other hand it is quite sad, that the people lost their old handcrafts and are mostly selling crap for tourists. This doesn't give you the flair of how it could have been thousand years ago. But it's worth a visit, of course.

19.05.2010

Wow, I have some pictures, which I want to show you and I can't find the time.
Actually, I also wish I could take a picture of my outfit everyday. Wouldn't that be nice? Like a real style diary for me and maybe for you if you are interested. I am working on it, just need to find a photographer, because I don't want to bother my boyfriend all the time... Someone wants? In Israel?

In Israel?

Schavuot

Long time ago (at least it feels like ages for me) the whole village celebrated shavuot. We met on the lawn, listened to music some people from the village made and danced in the end. It was really nice.
The pictures are unfortunately a little bit blurry, because the first one has been taken by the small disabled woman, who you can see in the second picture in the middle, and the second one has been taken by an elderly lady, who works in the Kfar. As you can see auto focus doesn't always work properly, but you can see what I wanted to show you. My outfit and another female coworker (Adi), who is wearing skirts just when she is in the mood for them. I really like her!

Autofocus funktioniert also nicht immer.

Zweite Hand

What is a fashion blog without those "Look-what-I-bought"-posts?
Nothing. So here is mine:
This is what I bought at WIZO. It's an organisation for women's rights and they have a small place with secondhand clothes, books and hmm... things. They also have a soup kitchen. Everything costs from 50 cents to 3 € it's pretty amazing!

Was ist ein Modeblog ohne die "Schau-was-ich-mir-tolles-gekauft-habe"-posts?
Nichts!
