WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO SOMEONE STARTING IN STREET PHOTOGRAPHY? Buy a good pair of comfortable shoes, have a camera around your neck at all times, keep your elbows in, be patient, optimistic and don’t forget to smile.

A great photographer, who is shooting mainly with an analog camera (a Leica MP with a 35mm f1.4 Leica Summilux lens), is Matt Stuart.
He says about himself: " I am not sure which came first, being nosey or an interest in ‘street photography’, but a fascination with people and the way they live their lives is why I enjoy the business so much.
I can’t hide behind lights and technology, I am reliant on a small Leica camera, patience and lots of optimism. But what I get in return is the chance to make an honest picture which people know immediately is a genuine moment and which hopefully burrows deep into their memories."
He is capturing really funny and unique moments, just because he walks around the streets hours and hours. That's really amazing. You can find more about him and his work here.

Little India

That's the outfit I wore to go eating in the restaurant Little India. It's a vegetarian Indian restaurant that is designed to look like a Bedouin tent (15 Ringelbloom Street, Tel. (08) 648-9801, kosher) and I got a meal with all the coworkers of my house as a chanukka present.

petrol tanktop from Vero Moda, white skirt from Humana Frankfurter Tor and black cardian from H&M

Arte Dokumentaries

Vor der Show
That's maybe more something for german or french people. One of my favourite tv channel produced a four-part documentary about what happens in the night before a fashion show. The first part (Fendi... Vor der Show/ ...before the show) has been already aired, but if you can receive Arte you will be able to see the other three parts. You can also see the trailer of the first part here (in German).
Jean Paul Gaultier... Vor der Show, 21.01.2010 at 9:45pm
Proenza Schouler... Vor der Show, 28.01.2010 um 10:00 pm
Sonia Rykiel...

Walking Through Summerrain

Walking through summerrain in winter is one of the advantages of living in Israel. That's not a real winter, what they call winter here. But I like it so far.

Wearing a warm creme cardigan from Wizo,a yellow longsleeve from P&C, a white "shabbat"skirt from The Boutique and black leggings from H&M.

Photography Annual 1968 (International Edition) II

I found this magazine here in the village and I fall in love with a lot of pictures. They are too many to post them all together, so I will post them little by little.
