Everytime there is a German Vogue cover, which attracts me, I am beside myself with joy. 

The July cover of Vogue Deutsch was one like that. The mixing of those patterns is genious in my opinion. That's why I took pictures of the whole editorial for you. Enjoy and be inspired!

A Dancers Fairy Tale

This is an photo spread from the "Fräulein" (means "miss" in English) magazine about the ballet dancer Polina Semionova. 

I wanted to share it with you, because it is very beautiful that she is actually doing something with the clothes she is wearing. In a lot of editorials you just see models standing around in clothes, in contrary to that Polina is playing with her body and the clothes she is wearing. It's like every new outfit is a new role she has to play. The result is refreshing to see.

This editorial is so sexy and beautiful at the same time. Who needs thin models, if you can feature "real" women?

Someone Loves Short Hair, Too

Ich wollt euch nur mal zeigen, dass kurze Haare echt toll sind. Mir gefällt das dritte Bild am besten, weil es aussieht wie aus einer Zeitschrift aus den 60ern. Ob ich meine Haare wieder lang wachsen lassen sollte? Nein!

Die Bilder sind von hier und zeigen Emma Watson, wurden geschossen von Mario Testino für die Vogue UK December 2010.

Color Up The Sixties!

Normally buying the German Vogue ends in kind of a disaster and disappointment for me. This time not!

Those pictures are scanned from the October 2010 issue of German Vogue. The editorial is called "Color up!" and is kept (as they say) in the style of the sixties. Actually, just the shape and some colours of most of the clothes are sixties' style. I would more describe it as a mix of 60s and 70s, because of the hair and the flared pants. 

Nevertheless I love this editorial, because it brings some (at least for me) long needed colour and is a good contrast to the grey sky outside.

Normalerweise enttäuscht mich die deutsche Vogue, wenn ich sie mir kaufe. Dieses mal aber nicht!

Ich habe die Bilder aus der Oktoberausgabe diesen Jahres eingescannt. Das Editorial heißt "Color up!" und soll im Stil der 60er Jahre gehalten sein. Meiner Meinung nach ist das eher ein Stilmix  aus den 60er und 70er Jahren, denn der Haarschnitt des Models zum Beispiel oder die Schlaghosen sind mehr 70er.

Trotzdem liebe ich dieses Editorial, denn es zeigt mir tolle Farbmixe (ich liebe das gelb!) und ist ein guter Kontrast zum grauen Himmel draußen.

The Untold Crime

Photographer Terry Richardson turned Freja Beha Erichsen into a seventies women having an affair with an older gentleman in the August issue of Vogue Nippon. 

They did such a good job here, I can't believe it! Especially because Terry Richardson did it, whose pictures I normally don't like so much

I always love the 70s vibe and this is going to be a great inspiration for my next buys for sure.

Fotograf Terry Richardson hat Freja Beha Erichsen für die August Ausgabe der Vogue Nippon in eine 70er Jahre Frau verwandelt, die eine Affäre mit einem Mann hat. 

Sie haben das so toll gemacht, ich kann es kaum glauben. Besonders das der Fotograf Terry Richardson ist, dessen Bilder ich nur manchmal mag.

Ich liebe die 70er Jahre und dieses Editorial wird für mich eine großartige Inspiration für Einkäufe sein.
